Reflection: How We Organize Ourselves

We had a sort of class system for two days. We did not have equal rights or responsibilities.
In this video, we talk about our feelings and observations.
We wrote about feelings, actions, reactions, and thoughts.

A Message From Ryan Yoon

Hi Joon,

Can you tell my other awesome friends and Mr.Ross I miss them too? Oh yeah who won for the castle battle?
I wrote a poem for the whole class but it is very short but I hope you
enjoy it!

You guys are so lovely that I could not forget,
you are the one that was the first I met.

Thank you to all of my friends and Mr.Ross that I became a strong boy!

Announcement Regarding iPads

Dear parents and students,

Originally, the thought was that the iPads would be sent home over Christmas. This was impossible due to the wait time related to the new iPad version(s) Korean release.

The new official date for take home of student iPads was to be Spring Break, but due to parent requests this has been pushed up.

That said, GSIS policy related to iPads is that they will stay at school until sometime next week. An official waiver is being worked on. Next week that waiver will be provided for those who wish to take their devices home to sign.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Mr. Anderson (Elementary Principal), or Mrs. Montgomery (Tech. Office)

Thank you.

Writing: Who Are You?

To answer these questions in detail you will need to choose one of these people and research how  and where they lived before you start writing.

You will need to take notes about what you find out.

You will need to know things like:

How they lived each day.
What they did to survive.
What they ate.
Where they slept.
How they got food.
What they wore.
What made their life difficult or easy.

Artifact Writing

1. Describe what this artifact looks like:
Use adjectives/sensory words to describe the artifact to someone who cannot see the image. If your eyes could talk......

2. Tell what you think this artifact might have  been  used for:
Use what you know and what you see to make inferences about what this artifact was used for.

3. Tell where you think this artifact could be from:
Use what you know and what you see to make inferences about where you think this is from.

4. Tell what it might be like that we use today:
Does it look similar to anything we use in modern society today?  Draw a picture of the thing you think we use today.
